I guess you can build and grow with Lowe's, as long as you're not Islamic and living in Dearborn MI.

From project basics to giving your child the opportunity to say, "I built it!", our Build and Grow kid's clinics are a great way to help build confidence! Bring the kids into any Lowe's store and build a FREE wooden project. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project.

I shop both places about equally. When I needed some topsoil, rather than getting a truck load of dirt for cheaper, I had Lowes deliver me pallets of their topsoil and manure compose. I also made a few trips to the quarry for sand and mixed it all up myself. I chose the pallets of bags over the pile of dumped dirt because I could carry it through my fence opening, and it wasn't too much more expensive.

I live in the Rockwood area. My God... the ground grows large rocks like crazy... It was really a job...

I had Home Depot deliver all my new fence material.
