That's what they get for being dumb*sses and playing Big Ben to clinch home-field instead of resting him. I'd rather have my quarterback healthy on the road than playing injured at home. For Pittsburgh's case, they ended up having an injured qb on the road, resulting in gettin Tebow'd. Good call Tomlin.
I'm glad this season is over for the Steelers. That 12-4 record and (statistically) best defense was textbook fool's gold (I should know, after witnessing the Spurs for the last few years). They played the Cardinals, Chiefs (w/Palko), Rams, Colts, Jags, Seahawks, ans, BrownsX2 and struggled to win several of those games.
The mounting injuries and the declining intensity were visible for the last few weeks, and yesterday was a fitting end. Lebeau needs a few younger personnel and maybe some scheme changes. There were precious few sacks and interceptions throughout the season ... the supposed league-leading defense couldn't pressure Tebow at all.
The Browns can't beat the Steelers on the scoreboard... but at least they impaired them physically.
No easy games in the AFCN, that's for sure.
