I'm not even sure this is the best Alabama defense of all time. The 1992 Bama team was loaded on defense and dominated a much better Miami offense in the Sugar Bowl.

legendary championship performance.
I know they didn't play against great offenses this year (Arkansas withstanding, which they clobbered) but these statistics are absolutely amazing.

The Bama team that stood Penn State up at the goal line '78?, '79? with DeNiro comes to mind.
I thought their championship team from 2 years ago was pretty badass. Rolando McClain, Cody, Dareus, Areanas and Kareem Jackson in the secondary. I take that back Kareem Jackson sucks balls.
