Spurs finish strong to down Blazers

Tony Parker scored 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, as the Spurs controlled the final stanza to upend the Trail Blazers, 99-83.
Tiago Splitter was a spark with 14 points, while fellow reserve Danny Green chipped in 13 points for San Antonio, which got 13 points and 11 rebounds from DeJuan Blair in its second straight win.

The Spurs improved to 8-0 at home and won for just the second time in 10 meetings against Portland, which got its six-game road trip started on a sour note.

LaMarcus Aldridge posted 29 points to lead the Blazers, who were coming off a 107-104 loss against the Magic on Wednesday.
