Rose should only be out for a couple a' games. Your boys'll get back on track.
Carlisle's lack of trust in our youth when it counts was proven today. In particular, Beaubois. Kidd was horrible and yet he kept getting minutes. Carlisle needs a veteran team that still has it. Kidd is one year too done.

Coaches always do the most conservative things in big games. Too bad, it doesn't work out for this team now. We needed some speed in this game obviously. Kidd was killing this. Heck even Terry wasn't helping things. The Lakers newfound defense helped as well but we needed more movement off the ball. Kidd just stands there. And the Bulls. Rose is a thug.
This was actually a good game to test that Beaubois kid again.
I mean, is he injured or something? Why isn't he yet getting some quality time?
After that playoffs series with the Spurs, I honestly though the kid was going to be really good the season after it, but nothing...
you quit on your team in february last year and just a few months later dem n!ggas won their 1st ever NBA championship
you have no room, bullsfan1000
^Mono quit on the Mavs as well.
Read the body language of both Kidd and Dirk.
It's obvious they are coasting like crazy. Come playoff time, they wont be missing all the wide open shots, Kidd won't be trying to throw crazy passes to Haywood that he knows he can't handle, Dirk will be much more assertive offensively instead of sitting around doing nothing until the last 2 minutes.
Last nights game was an indicator of nothing at all for the Mavs, aside from Shawn Marion can still play some damn good defense.
Come April and May, they will be playing much differently than they are now. I agree Kidd needs a reduced role, but he (as well as everyone else) won't be this bad in a few months. Just be patient.
Though Carlisle didn't believe it & sent Terry to your doom.
lol "coasting"
nuh, uh. if they are coasting, they better knock it off. this team ain't good enough to just decide when to "turn it on."
I agree, its annoying, but it's pretty obvious they arent playing with full effort, like they do come playoff time. Most older stars do that early in the season though, its not uncommon.
Also, keep in mind the heavier minute load that Laker players were getting. Their main 3 guys (Kobe, Bynum, Gasol) all got over 35 minutes. No one on the Mavs played more than 34 minutes (JET being the only one). An extra 5 minutes of Dirk (to match Kobe's 37 minutes) could have been the difference between a win and a loss for the Mavs.
No need to panic. This is the second time this season the Mavs lost to a very good team who needed a last second long 3 point shot to fall to win. It's not like they are just getting pounded in the ass by elite teams (aside from the abortion of the Miami game).
agree i'm not worried at all, but a "we're the champs, let's just coast!" mentality won't work for this team. it didn't work for the lakers when they tried it last year either.
You'll think "lol" if you up tonite.
You can try me, fatso.
you seem upset brah, wonna talk about it?
Just win tonite and I'll be as happy as a clam.
- "Can you do that,,,,can you do that for me?"
- Alec Baldwin - "The Getaway"
..sure ok, i guess
... me.
agreed![]()
Also pray to God that Carter doesn't destroy the team himself.
Vince Carter is among the least of the Mavs worries. The dude has been a great addition. He has made a strong committment to defense, hustling, and passing, while avoiding being a ball-hog, and is doing a great job of playing within the offense.
He has basically been Caron Butler was, only he's better in basically every aspect.
You're as crazy as a house rat.
Bump. Deja vu. Kidd ed up again. Horrible game from him. Carlisle continues to overplay this player formerly known as Kidd.
Mono quit.
