Anderson struggled a bit last night against the Bobcats although he's definitely an MIP candidate.
I'm curious what kind of approach the Spurs will use against Howard, whether they'll play D straight up, or pull the hack-a-Dwight like GS did.
Tonight, the Spurs get back on track as await a match up between two players that will change the league for years to come:
Vs.
Forget Lebron, Anderson just had a career best 30 points against the Knicks this past game. He's like Bonner if you dumped him into a bucket of Ooze from Ninja Turtles and then scaled back in horror.
Kawhi should have his jersey retired by season's end. Hard not to love everything about the guy.
Here's a look at how the teams rank in their respective categories:
San Antonio:
Orlando:

Oh whoops, didn't realize Orlando played last night as well. Which means they'll be on a b2b2b.
I'm sure Pop will do hack a howard if it's close in the fourth quarter. I wanna see Tiago on Howard, and hopefully very very little Bonner.
Though I'm sure Pop will go crazy and try to get Bonner to defend Anderson.
Just get a win please. Go Spurs!!
37-0 run in the 3rd
Hopefully our players will be angry and have a respectable showing. But yeah, El Che predicts another loss. It's the sensible thing.
This one is actually very winnable. Last night was one of the more strange games I've seen lately, but I fully expected a loss.
I think this one will be a close one although I'm not confident we will be on the winning end. Should be closer than last night though.
Lets get our 1st road win tonight. GO SPURS GO!![]()
I love the Spurs (duh) and love being pleasantly surprised, but I will be shocked if they win this game tonight. In fact, I'll be surprised if they lose by only single digits.
The good news is, only OKC has won all 3 games of a b2b2b this season. The bad news is, that third game was against the Spurs. The other bad news is they have Howard in the middle, and the team is shooting .411 from 3P. (We're feeling good about shooting .399 from distance.)
Let's hope the zebras put Howard in the same early foul hole they put our bigs in last night.
Normally when we play Orlando, I feel the same way as when we play Portland... Still not over that Dwight alley oop at the buzzer to beat us. I feel like they always give us fits... Maybe we'll overcome it like we did Portland... Or maybe we'll be 0-6 on the road and be on par with the Wizards.
I think Splitter's minutes last night was limited just so that the Spurs can throw him against Dwight Howard. Splitter and Duncan are the Spurs best chances against Dwight in 1v1. But for some reason I got a bad feeling that Dwight Coward is going to get frustrated and lay some punishment against the Spurs in the way of an elbow or two.
Encore!!!
Very likely.
And you, Cully.
I hope the Spurs win, but in reality, its a very long longshot that the refs will put Howard in foul trouble at home against a ratings-unspectacular team like the Spurs. I just don't trust them to do something like that. On the other hand, look for the Spurs to get whistled often like last night.
I wish Gregg Popovich would simply be a normal, good coach and start Splitter or at least up his minutes. Knowing Popovich, he'll play Splitter only 5 minutes, although he could use him on Howard, and he'll do so just because he possesses the authority to do so.

Hedo Turkoglu (back) will not play for Orlando.
Lets hope Ryan ing Anderson wont go ape- on us.
If he's been playing poorly before tonight, then it's almost guaran-damn-teed.
Kevin Martin = can't hit the broad side of a barn...becomes MJ's avatar against us.
Stephen Jackson = shooting like 30% to start the season....torches us for 34 and 8 on 70% shooting
Lebron = three 3-pointers all season long...three 3-pointers against us in the third quarter alone.
I'm not sure if it's the defense or just the logo on the uniform, but we have become the slump-busters.
In that case, Jameer Nelson will go for 30 points tonight.
Reddit down boycotting SOPA. Have to avoid SpursTalk since I'm recording the game.
WTF am I going to use this computer for?
