If he beats NE, I think he cements HoF status. Assuming he continues to play anywhere close to the regular season he just had.

True, he doesn't have many successful postseasons (just 2), but who else has beaten the amount of quality teams that he has?

Im already calling this the hall of fame game. If the giants win then eli and coughlin are locks for the hall.
Today wasn't pretty, but Elite The Eliminator Manning prevailed again. It is what he does. He eliminates teams. He breaks your heart if you aren't a Giants fan. Elite The Eliminator Manning is allergic to losing in the postseason.
Eli's already a hall of famer. Not only did he take a lot of punishment, he also avoided turnovers. Good for him.
Once he gets his 2nd le, this will begin a dynasty for the Giants. That is what is scary. This team is going to be even better next season. Marvin Austin is going to dramatically improve an already elite pass rush. This guy was a ing steal, and he is going to be a dominate DT. Amukamara as well plus another strong draft class. OMG I love being a Giants fan.
Terrell Thomas comes back too...and Hixon will return as the 4th or 5th wide---Cruz has his job now

When you look at who the Giants are getting back, it's downright ing nuts. If this team would ever stay healthy they'd dominate the regular season. When you consider all the people we lost to IR, it makes no sense. They should be dead in the water. Last year Eli had tons of INTs and people are starting to realize that it wasn't him, it was all the receivers. They didn't know where to run. Now they are all on the same page and Eli is a ing machine. Just imagine if the Giants had Beatty back at LT, Diehl back at Guard, and Bass stopped being a whiney little pussy.
