"A French point guard named Parker running the Knicks' fast break? It could become a reality - that is, if Isiah Thomas liked what he saw yesterday when several prospects completed a predraft workout at the team's Greenburgh facility. Tony Parker, San Antonio's dynamic point guard, isn't defecting from the Spurs, but the Knicks could get his 21-year-old brother, T.J., who is foregoing his final year at Northwestern and entering the NBA draft." New York Daily News

"Parker didn't have a monopoly on (Isiah) Thomas' attention yesterday, though. Bronx product Carl Krauser - who attended Stevenson High and starred at Pittsburgh - got to work out in front of one of his childhood idols." New York Daily News

"Pitt's Carl Krauser was one of two college point guards to work out Friday for the New York Knicks at the team's Greenburgh, N.Y., facility. The other, T.J. Parker of Northwestern, like Krauser, has intentions of forgoing his senior season of college basketball." Pittsburgh Tribune-Review

Why are you talking about trading Tony Parker for Marbury anyway?

This thread was about TJ Parker working out for the Knicks.

The Spurs don't need an aging point gaurd who hogs the ball and doesn't play defense.

He pretty much sucked in college.

I got a chance to see quite a bit of him since he was in the Big Ten. Devin Harris, Boo Wade, and Shareef Chambliss owned TJ all throughout his college days. Although I didnt see him against anyone else besides the Badgers, but from what I saw, he isnt NBA material.

That's pretty much the consensus. But he'll probably get teams to look at him because he's Tony's brother. A few people I know who have seen him play regularly say they doubt he'll even be able to play on a good Euro team.

Yeah he's horrible. No way he makes it anywhere. At best, he's a career backup in Europe.
