Deaf people fall in love so it doesn't have to be audible communication

So, in theory, can two people fall in love by just sending each other emails, texts, etc.?

And if that's true, and the two people never have to come into physical contact, will there be a time when computers can replicate a human conversation to the pont that a person (not knowing they were talking to a computer) could fall in love with the machine?
