    Splitter 16 points, 7 rebounds, 7/9 FG
    Duncan 19 points, 10 rebounds, 6/8 FG

While helping hold New Orleans to 81 points. Brilliant stuff

Now to get rid of Fatty and or Ginger and sign KMART or Kamaan and our front line will be looking sweet.

I'm ok with Bonner just as long as he doesn't get more minutes than Tiago. Also, Bonner has been playing quite well lately so I can't hate on him right now. The real issue here is Blair getting a lot of playing time and still very inefficient with his game. I think POP will eventually realize that the best way for this team to succeed is by playing Tim and Tiago together.

Until I read the actual post I thought you were referring to Bonner and Blair cause that combo is unstoppable

Posted in game blog, but more relevant here; something about Splitter & Duncan on the court together is so satisfying. It actually makes me feel confident in the team, doesn't make me feel like 1/3 of the front court is a liability(Which is the way I have constantly felt for years).

We'll see if they get minutes together against a team that doesn't belong in the D-League, and then we can judge..

As for the big rotation..Bonner is fine as the 4th big, ideally, they need to find a legit 3rd big, which is easier said than done..

It's painfully obvious that Tiago is the 2nd best big. Bonner and Blair are pretty good for 4th big men, but putting one of them at #3 is just a bit too much. With K-Mart as the first big off the bench, I would actually feel pretty good about the big rotation.

i love duncan and splitter together.

i also wonder if some role playing wings avoid feeding splitter the ball, because they have a better friendship with blair; not accusing anyone, but if that were the case, it's a weak ass move by those guys. the coaching staff needs to address it asap. splitter's fg% is off the charts and it's mind boggling why some of these weaklings don't pass him the ball.

parker, duncan, ginobili and love to share the ball with him. those other guys treat him like a rookie; as sean was commenting tonight - you have to show splitter the same respect as you show duncan. the guy was spanish league mvp.

Tiago has size and he knows how to use it. Blair has to full on sprint to get rebounds that Tiago walks to.

Green said in the mailbag thing that he was mostly hanging out with Blair but tbh I think they're above that.

    I doubt there's a conspiracy, relax..

The Spurs guards are chuckers, that's the simple explanation..

yeah, i agree. i read that as well. chances are it's not that; i'm just trying to rationalize this situation and my mind is trying to cover all scenarios.

Agree with you guys. I've gotta stop hating on Bonner so much, its not his fault Pop plays him ahead of and more then Tiago. Just don't leave him in games when he's not shooting well cause when he's not shooting well he is useless.

I'd much rather see Fatty off this team then Bonner as Bonner can actually be quite useful as a 4th or 5th big in short stretches. Now to get that elusive 3rd big to play ahead of Bonner in the rotation hmm...

I'm more then satisfied with the Duncan Splitter combo and Splitter will only get better by years end :-) they will each have their ups and downs but thats expected from a second year big and a twilight big.

head coach had all LAST SEASON to integrate TD/Splitter and the playoffs would have been a different story...

you guys are so forgiving of head coach and Bonner....

this head coach will never be forgiven...he needs to go....

unless he makes me eat by winning les this season and next....at least...

I agree silverblk mystix, Pop lost it years ago in my oppinion. In my post i was bagging out Pop and forgiving of Bonner. It's not Bonner's fault Pop leaves him in massive mismatches all the time. Pop,

They could have been doing that since day 1 last season if Pop hadn't tried to hold Splitter back so he can get Bonner more minutes. There's no way we lose in the first round if TD and TS put up those numbers last year.

I agree he lost a golden opportunity last season. I think this team could have at least got to the finals if TS plays. Dice would have been able to provide a veteran lift of the bench. (Heck in training camp Dice was basically saying TS was the future and should start) And in the finals it might have been a toss up. The team matched up well with the Thunder and Mavs. Pop's been outcoached in the playoffs twice in the past two seasons and hasn't made the right adjustments other than trying to tell his team to play harder. I can't fault the players efforts too much. I think it's mostly on him.
