I mainline Dilaudid and sit in a massage chair for an hour
I'm not aware that these are painful or not... I have a friend who's a massage therapist and she told me I have a load of them.. she tried to "undo" them or whatever, and that was painful.. she didn't really accomplish much according to her. Apparently stress makes this?
Ask your Dr. to do a Trigger Point injection into them and they will go away.....for a very long time................
Your right onh the cause ....worked overseas and job had loads of pressure and used fly into Bangkok for a three day weekend and get one of the hotel massage persons and do a job with their elbows until they were gone ....very painfull
Other times just asked and got a Thai Sandwich ..........That worked also
get a tens unit. works wonders.
Are you in SA? The massage school there does student sessions for like $30/hour - it's an awesome deal and totally worth it if you need massage therapy on limited funds.
Another underrated remedy - Epsom salts. Put 2 cups of them in a hot bath and soak - it works miracles.
I have a TENS unit and my mother has one of these. I would recommend the Dr. Ho over the TENS unit as it is much easier (and safer) to use.

I prefer a woman but the cane probably requires less maintenance.
muscle knots are cramps.
Best fixed with correcting pathogenic nutrition rather only mechanical techniques.
When I get really knotted up I go for a deep tissue massage, but in the meantime, the massage therapist told me to put a ball on the floor and lay down on my back with the ball under the knot. He said start with something small like a golf ball and work up to as big a ball as my pain tolerance will allow. Just laying on it for several minutes will eventually relax the cramps.
I know it is ccounter-intuitive but hit the gym and workout your back. Also, up your potasism. Eat a banana...
