actually bigs do pretty well I believe...best suited guys: setshooters and bigs, as its easier for them, to remain stable while not using so much time and power to elevate.

Bonner is a great shooter, but the timing seems off to me to be successful in that contest. He has a slow release. On the other hand, he does probably shoot 100 3s a day in shoot around and is scary effective.
I always thought Neal would be excellent in that contest too. He would certainly be a contestant in the 'Brass Balls' compe ion.

I dont think they will put on in there just because of how bad Rodger Mason did when he was in it a few years ago.

figured he would gag rather have Neal as nothing fazes him.

Nope, Bonner has never been selected for the Three Point Contest.

The only Spurs to do it in recent years were Roger Mason Jr. in 2009 (first round) and Steve Smith in 2002 (first round). Barry did it in 2003 prior to coming to the Spurs.

Think I said this last year too but would love to see Bonner there. Neal too.

Both are deserving and get a chance to experience allstar weekend (maybe even win ^_^)

Its also a great boost of confidence to be at a allstar event.

Spurs needs as little attention as possible. Bonner's too slow to get 25 shots off in a minute anyways.

Neal's the better choice. The ideal choice would be no one.

Doubt they will get a run at it...Bonner is 27th in the league percentage wise with Gary Neal slightly behind him at 34th in the league....Their percentages are not bad both 40% and above...But hardly anyone likes the SPURS so I doubt they get voted in...

Matt would be ok except when the camera guy gets within 15 feet of him his killer instinct would take over, Matt would put the ball on the floor, take two steps toward the rim and pick up his dribble, look around frantically with the ball held over his head until the clock expired.
