    AI started with Eric Snow, George Lynch, Tyrone Hill, and Mutombo. Those days were hilarious.

    Clearly the NBA has evolved from the days when a team starting 2.5 scrubs could reach the finals...

    Good thread, tbh. I would take AI. His greatness is the reason the 2001 Lakers didn't go 15-0. Not sure if Rose has the stones to deal with prime Shaq and 21 year old Kobe. AI did, although his squad came up short 4-1.

    Pretty much this. AI was the more potent single offensive (and defensive) threat, but Rose does damage AND gets other people in on the act routinely.
