That said, he's probably going to win it now.

Mario Chalmers selected to the 3 point contest... I don't get it. They already have a rep from the Heat in the contest. Who else would you guys want in the 3 point contest over Mario Chalmers?
That said, he's probably going to win it now.
Kevin Lov being in the contest is a bigger bas ization. I mean really? This may be the year the three contest officially jumped the shark.
I'd like to see Dwight Howard, Nene, Thabeet, Ibaka and Blair
No way should Chalmers and Joe Johnson (are you kidding me) be in there over a guy like Bonner who was the leagues top shooter in the league last year! I get James Jones should be there so no way should MIA have 2 guys going. That's ridiculous.
Same logic as selecting JJ or Love
You are probably right... Damn it!!
I may be wrong but I recall someone saying that in a previous season Bonner got invited but he declined to go. Idk if that's true or not.
But I want to see Bonner there. Its the one thing he is really good at and he should at least be showcased for it.
nba doin its best to continue to shove the miami cheat down our throats
These selections are always so weird. Why is not the top 5 3PT% shooters? Boring contest really but I'm surprised Bonner has never participated
A year or two ago, Bonner was practicing for the three-point contest ... but ended up not getting invited.
lol @ Joe Johnson
pretty lame field tbh. my money is on Morrow, though Love/Anderson, as bigs, may have a little advantage in not tiring as quickly bombing so many from distance.
Love is a shocker too. Miss the days of Thunder Dan, and Ray Allen, Dale Ellis.. the pure shooters.
TBH, they didn't invite Neal because they knew it was a foregone conclusion he'd win...and they'd have to NEAL WITH IT.
lol bonner waiting to get invited anywhere
Neal has a nice quick release. Honestly, he'd be a good compe or in the shoot out. Unfortunately, his percentage hasn't been as sizzling this season.
Bonner is accurate but has a much slower release. Not sure how well he'd actually do in a timed event like that.
Like, Lunch?
I'm not moved to see any of the All Star events this year, and here is more reason not to watch. Plus the dunkers are also pretty weak this year.
The best thing about All-Star weekend, is that it will be over at some point and then teams can start focusing on moving players ahead of the trade deadline, most notably Howard.
Bonner, RJ or Neal should have gone.
RJ - too gay
Neal - not that great 3pt shooting so far. and not enough attempts. only around 80 ish and 38% shooting.
Bonner - yeah should have been in.
Like mentioned earlier LOL @ Joe Johnson. I'm surprised they didn't get Jodie Meeks in there. about 150 attempts at 43%.
bonner should be in it the nba if he would a laker he would be in it
Well he is 57/123 and sitting 5th, if you take only shooters who have hit 50 or more hes 2nd.
They always like to have a bigman in there. So Love doesn't surprise me. Love is a much better player than Bonner so he should get the nod.
And the NBA's marketing strategy will continue to see them less market share then their compe ors. The NFL markets all their teams and when NBA and NFL games share a time slot, the NFL murders them in ratings.
Should have been Bonner or Neal..
