Hi.
Of now retired players and players in the twilight of their careers, who do you think aged or is aging least gracefully toward the end of their NBA careers. I am hard-pressed to find anyone who aged worse than AI but I'm sure there are others out there. What do you think?
Pierce looks terrible, and that's after he improved.
Is that Francis? He's looking bad.
His last stat line per wikipedia "In November 2010, Francis signed with the Beijing Ducks. He averaged 0.5 points and 0.7 rebounds over four games, playing 14 minutes before leaving the team in late December to return to the U.S.["
The Celtics look terrible overall, bunch of TOSB's right now. Lakers looking much better than Boston right now tbh.
Oh and Malone not ringing with Shaq was pretty bad
Isn't he supposed to try to come back?
Magua hate the Amaechi name.
Daddy. & if it weren't for that TnT gig he'd be still be humiliating himself.
Story of his "career."
AI just because he could have still been a bench player for a good team right now.
Francis, Marbury really declined physically overnight so it's hard to put them over AI.
Shaq? Nah, the Celtics actually wanted him to come back for one more year, but his body had enough.
The one player who comes to mind though is Sprewell. Had a great 03-04 season, everything goes dowhnill the next year when he claims the new contract can't feed his kids. Then left out of one, he keeps waiting for a huge offer that never arrives and that was it. No one wanted to touch him after that.
LOL too injured to get surgery.
Maybe, but at least he still has money for drugs (unlike Iverson).
I got one, Oliver Miller. The Suns Gorilla performs a racist stunt concerning Ollie. Miller's agent threatens legal action forcing Colangelo to offer Miller a minimum contract the following season, but with the caveat that he remain within a certain weight, or, they'll nit pick the contract and airlift his ass out of downtown Phoenix. Miller agrees and then conspires with clubhouse personnel to rig the scales. Colangelo finds out and tells Stern on Miller.
tee, hee.
the stunt
I dont think there has ever been a player who "aged" gracefully. They all end up hitting the floor hard. They either stay too long, o Juwan Howard; or they retire on the hard decline.
There is no such thing as graceful ending. lol
Yeah but look at that face. He looks like Samuel L Jackson's father.
