    It was a republican (or whatever Tommy calls himself) that started the individual state by state elections. If he's posting only those states results in that thread then that seems legit to me. Personally I was against making a dozen different threads about each individual state and just posting the damn picture.

    State polls that take 2,000 samples are far, far more accurate and reflective of how that state votes than US polls that only take 1,000.


    They serve a purpose, if you don't like it then bump the older threads back up.

    Actually it only cuts down on the MOE by 1-2% on average. So they really don't serve that much greater of a snapshot, because they also take longer.

    Yes, the state polls provide a much better idea of how this campaign is progressing than the national polls. In addition the threads can be used to discuss how the campaign is going in those states. The state threads are no more or less important to this forum than the all the threads about Bush missing a physical back in 1972. And quite much more relevant.
