    I am just curious that what they will do for living after a NBA star retired. pro basketball life is so short. they used to get millions salary each month and gamble all day as well as to solicit pros utes at the time they were playing in their prime. if a player who retireed would the league pay some money for them just like pension?

    or most of them would do some investments like real estate and speculate on stocks?

    Probably play at the YMCA. Yeah their careers are over but I doubt they can totally stop playing basketball. The ones that are most inspired become coaches or run a business.

    About 15 years ago I bought a long, folding table at a Target in suburban Atlanta.

    The guy who wheeled it out to my car was Dan Roundfield, former NBA All-Star and Atlanta Hawk, generally regarded as a Top 5 PF in his day.

    Very nice guy, but it was quite a depressing scene.
