Wouldya just look at this !

BEN WALLACE 12 Rebounds 13 Points
SHEED WALLACE 5 Rebounds 12 Points

    Lets total this up....

TOTAL: WALLACE BROTHERS 25 Points 17 Rebounds
TOTAL: TIM DUNCAN 26 Points 19 Rebounds

    Can you say

Yeah, yeah, yeah...Timmy missed some FT's, clutch ones too. But, don't give me any crap about TIM not being the MAN for San Antonio. He ing carried the team for 3 quarters! TD was the reason we had a chance to win this...PERIOD! If not for TIMMY...Horry wouldn't have gotten to shine in the end.

I freakin' LOVE Horry...but, damnit...TIM WAS ING HUGE TONIGHT!! He outplayed two of the biggest stars in the game...by HIMSELF!!!

    Tim Duncan is overrated...

R2D made the now infamous comment that Duncan was another C-Webb.... well, Rasheed almost became R-Wall last night with the Timeout no-call...

My boss was all pissed off this morning about Timmy D playing like crap. I asked him how would he feel dragging Walton & Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes?

I think Timmy just ran out of fuel in the tank, he was playing so hard.

    "TIM WAS ING HUGE TONIGHT"

Yes, let's not let Robert's shot, and Tims' 4th qtr FTs, reduce the "Fundamental" credit due to Tim.

Tim was playing the same team that totally neutralized him in Games3 and 4.
19 RBs!!! against that tough Pistons front line.

I'd say "Tim figured some things out."

Spurs out-shot, out RBed, out-ASTed the Pistons, tripled the the Pistons TOs vs Game4, and did it all @Auburn Hills.

yeah, i was complaining about Tim's 4th quarter to my housemate after the game, and then those postgame interviews came on with the graphic
Tim Duncan: 26 points 19 rebounds,
and I just shut my mouth after that.

But... but... Walton said he was soft!

If Duncan is soft, than the Wallaces must be Twice as SoftŽ.

I hope he can continue to bring down the boards in game 6, because we really need to limit their second chance opportunities and get more of our own. That said, I thought Tim was great last night, and if only he had two healthy ankles this series might have been over a few games ago.

Please, TD is a beast. The guy gets 26 & 19 & people complain? geez, granted he missed critical Ft's & the game winning shot during regulation time, but he showed up to play.

    TD = Studmiester

Duncan outplays the entire hyped frontcourt of the PISTONS, that has the DPOY...if that's not MVP type of playing, nothing is.

Tim was the LEADING rebounder of the game. Led the SPURS in scoring, and was 2nd leading scorer of the game.

And all anyone can talk about is how he sucked at the FT line.

Again, Shaq is still called "Most Dominate Ever" and he's worse at FTs than Tim.

It's this double standard I can't stand. Does anyone doubt Tim Duncan is the Single Best basketball player right now?

Imagine Timmy if his ankles were healthy. We would have already had our parade by now.

Tim was a few free throws from having one of the great performances in finals history. Coming back from the past two games to post those kinds of numbers just further shows how ING BADASS Timmy is.

Tim missed six free throws but did he really miss six? He would normally hit maybe 4 out of those six. That means he missed four that he normally hits.

I don't understand all this hate. The guy stepped up huge. You can tell he was motivated and focused by the way he started the game.

Spurs won and that's all that counts.

Stats are overrated. The Wallace brothers make it so they don't have to double team Duncan which gives San Antonio some problems. The guards on Detroit are the ones taking most of the shots. Detroit is the better rebounding team also so Duncan't stats on rebounding doesn't mean much.

Close to being one of the most stupidest things I've read here...and that's saying something.

Oh, btw...Spurs outrebounded pistons last night 45-42.

Of course, stats don't really mean much, and "Duncans rebounding stats dont mean much."

"Duncans rebounding stats dont mean much."

1 game San Antonio outrebounded Detroit but the Wallaces would get more rebounds if Prince and Mcdyess weren't on the team which deflates the Wallaces rebounding stats. Duncan is the main guy on San Antonio for rebounds so he should get alot of rebounds. Maybe I used the wrong words about Duncan's stats don't mean much but he has to get those rebounds.

If you put Ben Wallace and Duncan on the same team would Duncan still average the same amount of rebounds? I don't think so. So Detroit is the best rebounding team in the league but Duncan gets more rebounds on a team that is not quite as good in rebounding. Get my point

He played AWESOME and oh how we forget that timmys been playing on 2 bad ankles. A somewhat healthy td would have dunked that ball at the end of the game and would have had a little energy and lift on his fts in the 4th.

, think if sheed could play that well healthy!!!

Amazing how people are talking about td choking but they seem to forget abuot his ankles.
