Servers are usually UNIX based machines (at least the price/performance effective are), Apple OS is also UNIX based - so you shouldn't have a problem. A litttle learning will probably be needed but nothing major (I recently set up a G5 at a client with no Apple experience - I just opened the system console and installed the network like in every other UNIX machine).
