REVENGE is the key word after games one and two we were feeling confident. Then in game 3 Manu gets hurt and isn't able to play his usual game. We go on to turn over the ball 18 times! You have to admit it woke you up to the fact that Detroit wasn't just going to give up the Championship. Then you thought we could not have another game like this. In game 4 we have 17 turn-overs. Detroit only had 4! If the Spurs could not
rebound after Games 3 and 4. The championship might as well be theirs.
Game 1 SA 84 DET 69 SA Won by 15 1-0
Game 2 SA 97 DET 76 SA Won by 21 2-0
Game 3 SA 79 DET 96 DET Won by 17 2-1
Game 4 SA 71 DET 102 DET Won by 31 2-2
The tensions were high as the teams warmed up. Each Spur with some doubt in their minds. The teams were neck and neck the whole way through.
This was the First Finals game to go into overtime.
