wait pop coached boris?
I asked Tony about boris and he said the Spurs are really interested .When i have joked about his weight, TP yelled at me saying that Boris is not fat and ready to play. Anyway Knicks are also pushing for Boris and i think it would be difficult for him to pass on the possibility to play back with his former coach and teammate
D'antoni did
The Spurs are interested in a lot of players. Until I see a player actually choose the Spurs over another team, I'm not getting my hopes up.
Hard choice for Boris
Spurs : Play for a contender with your best friend
Prepare the Olympics
won't get a lot of money and minutes
Knicks : Money and playing time ,big market team, former coach, Amare.
So colargol = Serge ?
The latest on Diaw is that he could be traded to Nets for Farmar+Petro+1st. While Nets will do it this trade mainly to have more cap space this summer, they might too decide to keep Diaw instead of agreeing to a buyout. In that case, Diaw wouldn't be an option for Spurs.
Even if Spurs are confident they can get Diaw if he is a free agent, it's risky for them to rely on him because it's not sure be will be bought out. Spurs better try hard to do a trade to improve their frontcourt. If Spurs can't get something done, it will be time to knock on wood for Diaw.
Boris Diaw is a proven NBA failure. Pass
Didn't notice the name "colargol" at first. Anybody with that name must be 35+ years old for sure![]()
I love Boris but he is sooooo lazy at times... pop would hate me quickly tbh
Diaw makes Jefferson look like Bob the Builder
So it was someone from Spurstalk, it was really funny when you joked about Boris' weight because TP wasn't amused at all lol.
This is why I wish the Spurs had the pieces to trade for Diaw, too many things have to line up for him to be bought out and then hopefully choose the Spurs. Diaw has the skill set (passing and stretch 4 abilities with some post skills; essentially a mix of Bonner and Blair) and experience to be a factor down the stretch for the Spurs. Every year I find the most realistic trade/bought out option around the deadline to keep my hopes on, and this year it is Diaw.
We need a DEFENSIVE bigman. And a backup pg...Boris is neither.
next week i should try something on how he messed up his wedding....![]()
http://www.projectspurs.com/2012-art...n-antonio.htmlProject Spurs' Trevor Zickgraf put in his vote to add Diaw to the squad and pointed out he is a very productive player.
First, he can score from a couple different places on the court. According to the NBA.com Stats Cube, Diaw is shooting 53 percent in the restricted area and 43 percent from mid-range. 33 percent of Diaw's scoring comes in the restricted area, 13 percent comes from inside the paint but outside the restricted zone, 22 percent comes from the mid-range and 30 percent comes from non-corner 3's. So he shoots from all over, though he probably shouldn't be taking two and a half threes a game. His defensive rebounding rate is 17 percent (meaning he collects 17 percent of available rebounds) would be good enough for second on the Spurs. Also, according to Synergy Sports, Diaw ranks 23rd in the league in defending the roll man in the pick and roll. So there's three areas he'd help the Spurs in.
OK so TP says he would like to see Diaw in San Antonio but what do you have to say Spurs fans? Do you agree with Parker or not?
TP doesn't seem to shut up, does he?
id take diaw over blair or bonner in a heart beat and it isnt even close
I'll take Boris Diaw no problem. We need size, someone taller than Blair and resembles more of a bigman than Bonner is a god-send.
Didn't know Serge Blanco was a Spurs fan
