Yes, please.
Is Spurs.com going to have streaming video?
Thanks![]()
They'll have video after. No stream, though.
Video is processing now, no Jack, RC discussing the trade. Be up in a few. Will be here - http://www.nba.com/spurs/news/120315_jackson

thanks spursdotcom
All RC needed to do was walk into the room, burn the #24 Jefferson jersey and then immediately display the #3 Jackson jersey.
And leave the room.

"this trade was built around roster management and flexibility" - RC
Good video. Pop and TD have already talked to Jack. RC of course is as vague and non-committal as humanly possible but listening between the words, it sounds like everyone is excited.
Reporter: "How much has [Jackson] grown since he was last here?"
RC: "We'll find out in the physical"

Looking at how Jackson makes the team more flexible is only if they both played out their contracts, Jackson would be a year closer to being an expiring contract and asset. Does that mean they no longer intended to use the amnesty on RJ?
"Roster management" meaning making sure that RJ isn't on the roster. "Flexibility" meaning playing both offense and defense.
How in the world could those dimwits not at least ask where RC saw him playing ie at 2 or 3 etc especially with gone? I understand he is likely to give nothing but they tried on the maturity question which is even less likely to get a decent answer.
I'm getting more and more excited about this trade. I know it doesn't make the Spurs significantly better, but just the changes in at ude can be enough to take this team far.
As long as he doesn't start his bull of demanding more shots, pouting, etc. then he makes the team significantly better. He can create his own shot. He can suck in the defense, and get other guys open shots. He runs the fast break very well. He actually defends.
And I'll offer one more thing to the people who point out that RJ shoots the 3 better than Jackson. IF Jax sat out on the perimeter and took nothing but wide open shots, I bet he could/would shoot a much higher percentage - similar to RJ. That's a big IF, because I don't see Jackson settling for that. But the rumors of his decay are greatly exaggerated.
To me the ONLY potential risk to this move is if he decides he should be the one to carry the team, and starts his usual demands and problem-child routine. Like maybe getting crosswise with Pop, because he thinks the team should run more? He's more than capable of that kind of stuff. But if he can just come in and do what he's told, he's so much better that it's potentially game-changing.
Depends on the situation. 4th Q they go to Tony, Duncan is the defensive anchor always and forever, then there's Neal, Manu, and SJax. If they need a 3, go with Neal. Manu and SJax can handle any other shot.
That's a great problem to have.
[QUOTE=hemann82;5702128]who gets the ball at end of games?
parker, ginobili, duncan, neal, SJax?[/
the red rocket
We haven't seen much of RC since the incident. lol
I think this is the second time the Spurs have made a trade for a former player. The first one was Sean.
