RJ would never have drawn that charge against Dirk
and it's only halftime on his first game
lateral move
RJ would never have drawn that charge against Dirk
Not to mention he's getting into Dirk's head.
Jeff would have aimed lower
He's brought more hustle, defense, and energy in this one game than Jefferson ever did.
I never realized how big Jax is, he's doing a great job out there, can't wait until he gets comfortable with these guys and the Spurs system. His play making ability is gonna make a big impact.
Holy I wish I could watch this game... Stuck a bar with my gf
what a ty 3rd quarter sub management by Pop
jackson looked good out there, team leading +11
Jefferson 2-14, 1-7 3 PT, 9 points against Utah![]()
During a free throw Matt and tiago were trying to determine who was gonna guard Dirk. They looked at pop each like 3 times. Pop finally pointed to Matt. Mavs bring the ball down and Jack cuts off Matt and d's the out of Dirk.
Balls.
he did a good job on dirk and did some stuff on offense that stick out'
now why didnt he get more minutes when we have a 3 day break coming, fkn pops
hence i think pop shouldve played his strongest small ball lineup over a scrub bigs like blair and bonner....fkn wasted the effort of a good showing from kl, green, splitter tonight...doesnt help when parker takes a night off, neal and ginoboli doing more harm then good when they start doing stupid on the floor, yeh its all good when they hit shots, but its lame when you have 3-4 consecutive plays of bull with no basket
Its a beautiful thing to watch. He is indeed intense. Ginobili and Jackson have that little extra po'ed at ude.
If we can just keep Jackson focused and not stomping thru the stands like Godzilla. Or going into some funk ala Metta World Joke.
On a positive note, with BOTH Manu and TP playing so horribly, we were still right there within 6-8 points at the end. Not bad....
Jax quote after the game: “Every day,” Jackson said Saturday, “I wish I wouldn’t have ever left.”
Good to have a head band-wearer on the team again.
it's called toughness and hustle
Wish I could have watched the game. There's a replay on NBATV at 2:00 pm EST for anyone who missed it.
It was nice to see him attack the basket in his first game. How nice will that be to see on a regular basis.
Gee, and to think that if he'd a acted like somebody in Milwaukee instead of quitting and stabbing his coach repeatedly in the back he wouldn't be hitting the floor more times than RJ for you fellows.
Life. It's a funny, funny thing.
GO back downstairs to the basement and play with your barrels, Cubby...
