The contract has a clause.
He is guaranteed $18m the first year and will go up to $20m provided he remains healthy after a postseason physicals in 2012.
Salary goes down if he fails a postseason physical after the 2013 season.

Imagine TJ Ford playing for Manning. Manning will be retired first month. This surgury is no freaking joke.

I'm not worried about Manning, at all..
I'm worried that they're focusing on offense, as opposed to the defensive focus from last year..
They already lost Bunkley, the best and only decent d-lineman on the team..all reports indicate that they'll be focusing on offense to help Manning..that would severely limit the potential of this team, tbh, especially since the D was already overrated..
Who needs Payton when we have Bunkley! Still need to find a pass rusher.
Manning in Denver in December....???
So Denver will be taking a QB in one of the first two rounds again this year?
