Was just browsing to see what happened to former Rocket Aaron Brooks and chanced upon this article. Marbury Reborn!

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/201...ina/index.html

Since joining the Beijing Ducks last year, Marbury has completely transformed his image in China by availing himself to the public like no athlete before him. Even more improbably, he's inspired a perennially mediocre team into a le contender.
Led by Marbury, the Ducks have advanced to the CBA Finals for the first time in franchise history, where the four-time defending champion Guangdong Southern Tigers await. Game 1 of the best-of-seven series tips off Wednesday at Beijing's MasterCard Center.

The Aaron Brooks led Tigers vs the Marbury led Ducks

Ducks take a 1-0 lead over the heavily favored Tigers.

And with Marbury...somethings never change. lol

Marbury refuses to be interviewd by Sports Illustrated Unless Given the Cover.

Was Stephon Marbury cursed out during the first game of the Chinese Basketball Association Finals in Beijing?

Marbury, who plays for the Beijing Ducks, took a hard foul after jacking up a three-point shot from forward Zhou Peng, who plays for the Guangdong Southern Tigers. Immediately after, Peng was confronted by a couple of Marbury's teammates before Peng's teammates quickly came to his rescue and prevented anything more from ensuing.

Then, as Marbury awaited to take his free throws, center Su Wei and Marbury confronted each other. It's unclear who instigated who first, but it seems clear that both mean exchanged curse words that added a little tension to the game. Marbury looks to have called Wei a p---- while Wei looks to have called Marbury a b---- on top of the f-bomb.

Marbury made two of his three free throws to extend Beijing's lead to 22 at that point. However, the referees had whistled a double technical, so Zhou Peng also shot free throws. He hit both of them, but to no avail, the Ducks held on to win the game 108-101 to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Marbury, whose NBA career to a plunge towards the back end, came to the CBA in 2010 and joined the Beijing Ducks in 2011. It can be argued that he singlehandedly led the Ducks to their first ever CBA Finals appearance.

China actively breeds people for tallness to succeed at basketball.

China's soccer teams are corrupt. They are also really bad. They are so bad at soccer, and so corrupt that a recent corruption scandal only was brought to light because the team owner was mad at his team for being too inept to properly throw a game. He bet against his own team, and lost.

Since joining the Beijing Ducks last year,

Beijing Duck, or if you prefer, Peking Duck, is available in San Antonio at several restaurants.

Cost is generally about $30, and feeds two people.

Stephon Marbury has not confirmed the rumors that he is negotiating with the Szechuan Beef. His girlfriend, Moo Goo Gai Pan, could not be reached for comment.

Hey here's game 1 on youtube if you want to watch it

    1Q: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmvW1Jy2U6A
    2Q: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XahhY9D7_ps

    4Q: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4AaHz2p7WY

The play is pretty sloppy and they play at about college level. Marbury and Brooks basically cancel each other out.
