The defense on Dirk was a thing of beauty.
Dude played pretty damn well in his first game. Spurs done good.

i'm in.
nice rack!
I was skeptical at first but he looks legit , his passing is sick and he did a great job defensively on Dirk, really surprised at how good he looked out there, he fit in perfectly.
I was caustiously optimistic with this signing, but tonight showed me everything I needed to see: rebounding, hustling, passing, and fantastic on the ball defense on Dirk.

outstending D and great bbiq
The most surprising part is that he didn't look lost at all in the spurs system. I didn't see him missing rotations... maybe TP has briefed him a bit or the stuff about needing 2 years to get used to spurs system is just b/s for low IQ players
See man! I told you he'd be an awesome signing! As far as waiver wire, buy-out target players go, the Diaw deal was as good as we could ask for.
Diaw just throws on a Spurs jersey walks on the court and looks like he's been on the team all year.![]()
at people saying he ain't fit and lacked motivation.
He look motivated now that he's playing with a contender tbh...
Any personnel that is part of the Bobcats organization would have some lack of motivation, I don't blame Diaw.
I think he understood the defensive schemes in 2 hours better than Blair has after nearly 3 years in the system.
Manu just said in the post game interview that, due to Tony, the French National Team run a lot of Spurs plays...![]()
true spurs get a lot of plays from euro ball
Signed. He looked great. Dirk abused Blair and Diaw stepped in and blocked Dirk's first shot.
time to bring back the bravatars?

Boris Diaw was +14 in 18 min. tonight for Spurs. Not a big believer in handing out credit in March but what a remarkable season for SA.
Very surprised and pleased with how he's been performing so far.
Once again, Blair, in 21 minutes, is -6...the only Spur with a negative +/- except James Anderson (who only played 6 minutes).
When you've been on the team for 3 years, the team's second best big is out, and you're still only getting 21 minutes (3 more than a guy signed 4 games ago)...well, then the writings on the wall.
