Someone here has a signature photo that I cant find now but its Green, Neal, Jackson and Leonard on court and I was just thinking damn the Spurs have really made some changes lately. I mean I never heard of two of those guys before the beginning of the season and Neal, well who could have been sure he would keep it up again. Its so damn good to have Jackson back too, its like he is one of the "mature leader types" now, who would have seen that coming? Now add Diaw who is on the team for only a few hours and goes out and helps shut down Dirk and I am pretty much amazed. Then add to the mix our "Big 3" plus Splitter and frankly Im pretty stoked for the playoffs myself. Weve basically got a new team folks.
Jackson is the biggest addition. Hes got great swagger and energy...but also experience to back it up. You put it all together and hes the player that is encouraging and inspiring to the younger crew that is lacking in the playoff experience department.
This team makes me excited for the playoffs
