Sure, but although this is a lethal small ball combination I hope he matches size against size.
We'll have to see what his rotations look like before we conclude anything one way or another.
Finally he has the personnel for small ball.
Bonner must have pictures of him in flagrante delicto with someone though.
Health is the biggest concern, with a lot of players north of 30. Still, RC messed around and gave the Spurs another le.

If Pop figures out a workable rotation and the health is there ... the West is wiiiiiiiiiiide open.
Agreed. I don't see the Spurs with any bad matchups this year.
ideally, we have an (overall) backcourt advantage against both of those teams.
unfortunately, last year tony didn't play particularly well and manu was banged up.
but any of the spurs potential conference/league le hopes depend on our stars being healthy and playing close to their peak levels.
man how the did you arrive to 1m posts? But yeah, Trust in Pop.
stroke your **** to it
I'm a ST noob, but I was assuming the post count was just a joke or something.
championship...
Miami and Chicago?
Things will really have to come together if we even make the finals. We have just added what will now be 3 new players. All will have to fit.
Is Memphis even in the top eight? And without Randolph murdering us down low, they are NOT the same Grizzlies.
And even if that fool IS back and the Grizzlies DO make the 7th or Eight seed, I LOVE the Spurs chances against them. Do you know how hungry this team would be in a rematch scenario? Don't forget we added another proven playoff performer this year that would excel in a gritty, grind it out series.
Memphis doesn't have Battier or Vasquez anymore nor Sam young or Arthur and the lakers bench is thinner than Keon Clark.
Classic ST moment.
started since 07 i think? I forgot
LA more so than MEM, but both those teams are tough. LA is surging and in the playoffs depth can be overrated. Spurs are in good shape if healthy but they won't be favored heavily in any series. They still need good match ups more than most.
Agreed, Memphis ain't . Lakers ain't either, but they will NOT rollover that's a guarantee.
MB's classic.
All those years of not having a defensive SF and now they have two elite ones in Leonard and Jack and another rotation 3 in Diaw. Never saw this coming in the summer.
I'm gonna stay grounded, but it is good times. Mark it, Leonard will be first team all defense in two seasons.
They're 4th in the West at 25-20, and played all but like 5 games without their best player. They are as much a contender as anyone, Rudy Gay looks really good.
Not until they can show us they can handle teams with size.
They still need to shore up their frontline, which won't happen till next season.
THEY. AIN'T. .
The low low nightmare that is Randolph and Gasol is NOT there. Hungry for revenge Spurs? Bring it.
