Danny Green's floaters have been terrible, all year, definitely one of the moves he needs to prioritize during the off-season..

Is Tony Parker responsible for all the new age point guards having floaters? I remember when Parker first started going to the floater consistently, the only person commentators could compare him to was Mark Jackson . . .

    +1

I have pretty much count a miss everytime he does a floater. I give him props at least getting to the lane, but sometimes he doesn't finish strong that's why he uses the floater. At the same time he has a weird release to it, and seems to give it too much arc.

Green shots floaters like he's been practicing on the moon are something. It ain't nothing for him to miss a floater by five feet.

I think Shawn Marion and Antawn Jamison both have very nice floaters.

Off the top of my head Parker, Rondo, Rose, Jamison, Wade and Marion have reliable floaters

Maybe because they call tony parker's shot a tear drop? Tony does his floater in a very different way.

Since we're on the subject of floaters, I nominate DeJuan Blair. His Whataburger diet produces lots of chunky floaters.

The advantage of the floater is you can get closer to the rim and then loft it over the shot blockers. The other options are going for the strong finish or stopping before you reach the rim and shooting a jumpshot.

I have to admit, my current skill set is more geared to the DeJuan Blair Whataburger floater than the Tony Parker floater....

I'm not bragging when I say my floaters never hit the rim.

    Just sayin'!

Without a doubt. 04 season was when he started shooting it with regularity, right?

Manu is responsible for the euro step in the NBA too, people used to bout it, now dwyane wade does it every game

I think it was earlier than that. He had no way to finish in the paint as a rookie in 2001. I think he busted it out the next year.

I don't know about the NBA but I dropped one in the toilet the other day took me about 10 flushes to get that sucker down. Would not go without a fight.

best floater in the world belongs to a guy that isn't even in the NBA anymore. Juan Carlos Navarro, and honestly I don't think anyone else's is even close.
