yeah cause drafting players has worked out so well for that franchise
At least not a little, they currently have the 4th and 11th picks, that's not bad considering... If they were a decent organization they should tank just a bit more, pick up Drummond with the 4th pick, and Sullinger with the 10th pick if they can move up.
Felton/
Crawford/Mathews
Batum/
L.Aldrige/Sullinger
Drummond/Pryz
Not bad, lots of talent

Sullinger wont fall that far. I hav econcerns about his size but in what is called a DEEP draft I only see 5 potential stars: Davis, Kidd-Gilcrist, Barnes (maybe), Drummond (maybe) and Sullinger I think the first 2 I listed only sure things. Everyone else listed or after those 5 are suspect imho ...
Tanking is for pussies and as... n/m![]()
Aldridge has. Roy did for a while.
We're definitely in tank mode. Hopefully the ping pong balls come up for us.
thet donrt have spurs scouts in there org no more
Weren't the Blazers the best team in the west?
Because you know franchises can't change thier legacys, ever.
I don't think Sullinger will pan out at the next level, maybe a decent bench role player. I just don't think his advantages in college translate well to the NBA.
To me, Portland needs to draft a PG with their second lottery pick. If Kendall Marshall still declares, and they're in a position to draft him, I'd get him and let Felton walk.
Yeah Felton. Those nigs need a starting PG in a terrible way.
Portland doesn't tank; they simply draft and play (which takes care of the first part).
I read New Jersey's pick is top 3 protected. New Jersey prob won't overtake Washington / NOLA for the 3rd worst record but if they move up into the top 3 with the lottery Portland is screwed.
Portland will probably draft another bum with knee problems
When I'm surfing the net and posting on ST I let this play in the background...
That is correct. If the pick is top 3 it moves to next year unprotected.
