Damn straight!"We're trying to win this thing."
Found this on Stein's most recent power rankings. Of course Tim wants to win, just nice to hear it.

No surprise, in the OKC box, there's zero mention of the Spurs beating them.

Damn straight!"We're trying to win this thing."
no!! you don't say!I admit it: I thought this was the season that the Spurs, with such limited flexibility to change their team, could finally be written off.
No Timmy!! No please
We're not trying to win this thing. no, we are going to win this thing
Stein has often been pro-Spurs so I wouldn't call him out on that. Of course the Spurs have beaten OKC, but the beating they gave to Miami counts for something too. There's nothing particularly egregious about these Poer Rankings. Actually what I found weird is that he seems to expect Miami to catch up with Chicago, which at this point seems really unlikely.
The Big Man is motivated, Let's go win this thing!![]()
Chicago 11L
OKC 12L
Miami 13L
SAS 14L
The next closest in Ls is 18.
Same top 4 teams from last season iirc. Let's hope the results aren't the same.
Spurs vs Bulls !!
Stein and I had the same thinking coming into this season. Spurs are done. oops
and OKC being ahead is fine with me. they have beaten the better team lately
Why didn't Spurs FO think of this last year
OH YEAH they thought ,Hill and Dice were the real deal. lulz
Was listening to Simmons' podcast with Steve Kerr and they allied about OKC and then mentioned that the Spurs have actually played them really well this season. They talked about how the Spurs could be a bad matchup for OKC.
