Pst, pst! There is already an American Idol thread. There are some in this forum that get all bent out of shape b/c of duplicate threads! Just letting you know.
Usually not a fan of real vocalists, I prefer that grit. More Joe er, Ray Lamontagne, Bukka White than Steve Perry. Bob Dylan would stand no chance, Tom Waits would stand no chance. Yet they are icons in the music biz.
Then there's this guy, incredible talent. If he walked out on that American Idol stage today...hmmmm?
I love his passion and style.
When it comes to the ladies it's those country singers.
This guy would get booed off the stage yet he is a legend. The King of Grit the amazing Charley Patton. He was a huge influense on just about everyone back in the day. The King of the Mississippi Delta Blues.
When it comes to a single performance by anyone how do you beat this?
