Here are the actual odds:
Not 98% like Woody said, but 2.6-1 odds against or about a 30% chance. He is only off by 68%.
06/21/05 111 Pistons(Detroit) +220 +5.5 Over 173
Buy Points:
21:10 ET 112 Spurs(SanAntonio) -260 -5.5 Under 173

Woody Paige is one of the many moronic sports analysts out there, and he is probably in the top 5 of the worst.
In fact, ESPN has made it a habit to get the very worst, with S.A. Smith working for them, also.
"Cold Pizza" is a useless show. Totally useless.
i can't stand cold pizza.
and yet i watch every day casue i want ot see waht moronic thing will come out of Woody's mouth.
I generally like Woody's insane predictions on Around the Horn as they are pretty entertaining at times, but his refusal to give the Spurs the slightest props is driving me up a wall. And while I didn't used to care much for Skip Bayless I started liking him after I saw him start yelling at Stephen A. during some debate segment on sports center a few week ago and then on Cold Pizza.
It's Denverhaterosis, a rampant epidemic among Colorado sportswriters.
They still have nightmares about Ginobili.![]()
Actually the odds are against the Spurs winning tonight.
The odds of someone predicting every Spurs series exactly are 4x4x4x4(Spurs have 4 ways to win a series: in 4, in 5, in 6 and in 7)= 1/256
I have predicted every series exactly(3 so far), so the odds of me getting this one right too are astronomical (I predicted Spurs in 6 in the Finals).
Do not hold it against me if SA does not beat the odds, please.

You had the order wrong.
Nobody got it right
Well then...Ginobili for 37 tonight...![]()
The order had nothing to do with the odds.
To get all 4 series exactly right is 1 in 256.
That is Nostradamus-like.

Not true. If we win tonight, my written prediction will be accurate. But , I'll take the wins regardless.![]()
Actually...you're making an assumption that each possibility is of equal probability. Probably not warranted. But...I'll let you have that one.
However...4*4*4=256. Not 264.

I am adding the exta 8 points because of the possibility that they lose a series, which is not in the equation, but in reality it is.

Travis, you should go see a doctor, that cough sounds bad.

Cold Pizza is a piece of show, I don't think anyone watches it.
Woody Paige...I hate this guy more than Stephen A. Smith.
I predicted this series exactly how it's turning out. how come we can't see our previous posts?

Oh, and Jim...there are some people who predicted the current order. Once again you show me why I should never take you seriously.

Yeah BABY!!! I know my shizneez
Manu Still needs to score 53 and Jim, then you can call me Nostradamus Sr.![]()
I checked last week, I guess I missed his post.
My apologies.
One good call does not trump all 4 series like my prediction. I will call you Nostradamus Jr Jr.

polandprzem also had the order correct...and he was an early poster...![]()
