I love the jersey you used as your starting point though. Like many here on ST I would be ecstatic if the Spurs brought that one into the fold. the Los Spurs jerseys. Got damn how I hate them.
Totally unrelated but somewhat related note:
I play a good deal of pick up ball, had blue air force twos that my girl got me for xmas a a couple years back, beat the out of those so I got some clean black on black jordans (not actual air jordans but jordan brand), beat the outta those, so now I need new kicks. Saturday is my birthday, and when it rolls around I'll be ordering a little birthday gift to myself:

On the Converse website there is a pretty cool and clever feature allowing you to customize a wide variety of their shoe styles. Naturally I went with some classic fiesta color Spurs themed basketball kicks. These are only 65 bucks, but I must admit as cool as they look I'm a little weary of buying them without trying them on, which is why I'll probably go try on the style somewhere first if I can. Anyone here ever owned a pair of Converse for playing purposes? Are they a pretty solid shoe? And what do you guys think of the design?
tough maybe I was just trippin because now they look less yellow. either way nicely done. too bad my pics came out so dark but I definitely plan on ordering those bad boys soon if I give Converse a passing grade.
