It works great for them actually. No one else has them and they get to have the best 2 if one of them transfers. If none of them transfer, they keep all 3.
Malcolm Brown
Joe Bergeron
Jonathan Gray
..............trying to share the ball in the backfield???? Get ready for at least one/two transfers by years end. These guys were all the main back in HS.

Exactly, great problem to have. Especially if you wanna play smashmouth. I think Gray was well aware of what he was getting into when he committed.
Yeah, but what if Malcolm has a bad game, then they ask Gray to start.........he has a crazy explosive game. You think Malcolm would stick around if he could not start anymore? Same with Bergeron......... ????
Even if one does transfer it's not like he will go to another big 12 school and sit out 2 years. Texas won't even have to deal with them.
Brown and joe b are gonna wear down the defense allowing grey to bust long ones.
They're going to share carries. I think it'll be just fine even if one does eventually transfer.
It worked pretty well for Texas back in 96 when they had Freshmen Ricky Williams, along with Shon Mitc and Priest Holmes. Funny thing was the guy that got the lion's share of the carries was actually Mitc since Holmes was coming back from Knee injury and Ricky was a freshmen fullback.
Each guy will average about 10 to 12 carries per game. As someone said above, Brown Burg will ware down the defense and Gray will hit for some big runs.
