yeah the spurs franchise was originally based in lubbock (see the lociation of the star on the throwback warmups) - and it's dry as out there

it can really do a number on the thin sensitive skin lining the lips

so they used a lot of chap stick. in fact i think they actually got an endorsemetn deal from the chapstick company. hence the name 'chaps'

I have see about 3 or 4 people wearing Chaps gear. Less we forget it was the Chaps of Dallas. No true Spurs fan would wear anything that would refer to Dallas. With all the leftover chaps gear that wont be bought, I know the next time I see someone wearing "chaps" gear it will probably be a Somali pirate on a ship in Indian ocean.
