Actual Pop quote from a couple minutes ago on what Matty Ice brings to the table in the final 5 minutes: 'Well he spreads the floor. He allows penetration. And usually hit a number of threes. Today he missed a couple but he hit that big one.'
Bonner's Clutch
Date of Birth: April 4, 2012
Money. Last bucket is the biggest bucket. Neal and Bonner both avenged themselves in the final minute to win the game after horrible shooting in the 2nd half.
I am not a fan of this guy but COT DAMN to see that I gotta say hats off to the kid! Good shot Bonner you won this game with that there.
I hope he can keep that ice in his veins from thawing out during the playoffs...
Wow he's jacked now. Must be lifting a lot more or something
That was a rare Clutch B appearance...
Go Clutch B...
Enjoy them while they last. Playoffs are coming.
Might explain why he's having his best year defensively.
Yes, it will be hard for him to top last year, when he was the Spurs #1 player in the playoffs in Win Shares per minute.

I was about to say. Dwight Howard, watch out.
@txstr What is Timmy doing in your gif?
Also, good on Matty Ice (that nickname is cold by the way.... get it? COLD?!) Maybe he feels confident enough to take the shot now. One can only pray
Don't mean to be a pessimist but...it looked like he had no choice but to take that shot, and by some miracle, it went in.
Don't expect this on a regular basis (especially in the PO).
Well, let's be honest, he's a good shooter and that was a "playoff atmosphere" moment. I agree that he had to take a shot, but I don't think it was a miracle, the guy can shoot.
That was the first time in Bonner's career with the Spurs that he hit a shot in a two-point game with less than 48 seconds remaining.
Better late than never, tbh.
BTW, using the same cir stances, Duncan is 42-105 (40%), Parker is 27-73 (37%) and Ginobili is 22-61 (36%).
(Sorry in advance, CoM)
Given that it took this sequence of events (with TP on the bench) to put the ball in Bonner's hands at that point in the game, I doubt we'll see an encore anytime soon:
Guess everyone forgets about this game. (starts at 1:28)
