agree
Get your beer. Find your lucky spot in the couch. Bring your game face. This thing just got started.
Detroit isn't going to lay down and die. Of any team I've seen over the last decade, they are right there with the '99 Spurs as far as having the most heart. The Pistons don't splinter when the going gets tough. They don't get scared. Actually, Detroit is used to winning in this type of situation.
It's too early to celebrate. The Spurs haven't done anything.
Yet.

Totally agree. For those Going to the Game
BRING THE NOISE!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait...
GO SPURS GO
I cant wait.
I'm hoping for a good game, but please, not as close as the last game. I don't think my heart could take another one like that.
No, it's not over, but everybody is all in. Ante up, boys, and let's play.
I only hope this is similar to game 5 in that both teams show up again.
I ready to feel sick to my stomach again! lol
I think it will be a close game.
Well said!
agreed....these guys are the defending champs for a reason.
Amen, brother!
But we can do it! Let's go Spurs! Get it done!
SPURS IN SIX!
This series was/is hard to predict. Of course it isn't over until someone wins a 4th game. Neither of these teams will go down without a fight...
And we were the previous champs for a reason.
Should be another game for the ages.![]()
B.S. Spurs by 15
Eh, the Pistons won't get the calls in SA that they got at home. Game 5 was a heart-breaker for them. Spurs by 10.
I'd agree that the Spurs have a ton of work to do, and I have the sense (as I did before Game 4 against the Suns) that the City is somewhat complacent today. That, more than anything else, scares me. An amped crowd should keep the Spurs out of the doldrums, but a complacent crowd is unlikely to be very amped.
This is easily the toughest Finals series the Spurs have played and the mental hurdles the Spurs have surmounted to this point are among the most impressive feats in the history of the franchise. Other Spurs teams would have folded up after going down 2-2 like this team did; this team nutted up instead. They have to realize that it will take an effort like they had in Game 5, and much, much better execution to put this baby to bed.
Be loud and proud San Antonio -- We've still gotta go to work!
I'm hoping for another Game 5. The heart of both teams was great. I was about to have a heart attack but the way we won the game was well worth it.
I agree with you on that as well. And we were the previous champs for a reason.
Should be another game for the ages.
Game 5 was the single greatest game in Spurs history.
Game 6 may have to be even better for them to win it.
This is what I've been thinking since 12.30 AM EST Monday. This ain't over.
Lets hope the SPurs can close it tonight.
Vamos Espuelas Carajo!
You have to give the Pistons some love.
Chauncey Billups is still a candidate for series MVP. Until Bowen was put on him he was able to do whatever he wanted against Parker, Beno, whoever.....
Ben Wallace would be beloved in San Antonio for his blue color unselfish style of play. He is the other Piston that would be considered MVP in addition to Billups.
Prince has been fairly quiet but has hit some timely shots, grabbed some key rebounds and blocked a few shots.
Rip is a very good player. He just has the misfortune of being guarded by the best perimeter defender in the league.
Rasheed handles Duncan as well as anyone in the league.
Despite the blow outs, this is a close series and both teams are playing very well and playing team ball. I know Stern doesn't like the match up but people who are not watching because their team or a major market team is not in are missing out.
I agree that the series is not over, and Detroit is not gonna lay down! We have to bring the intensity today!! GO SPURS GO!!
IT
IS
OVER!!!!
