timmy will call it a day and retire on top?

It was a hypothetical question to provoke conversation on an internet message board.
Another such question could be:
IF Kobe Bryant took fewer shots would the Lakers be a better team?
Even with a rather improbable premise, the question is reasonable fodder for discussion here.
Now why does a Laker fan continue to make impotent efforts to regulate GNSFs?
Venti is good people just trolling GNSFs he is supposed to troll.
I know what he's doing, Brazil.
He's just not very good at it.
thanks for the bold, Mel, I appreciate.
For the rest you're right, this is not his best trolling... I agree
Till the wheels fall off means what it means.
i don't think he will retire. for robinson, it made sense for him, but timmy looks really healthy playing out there, and he probably has two good years left in him.
Tim probably won't retire. He can start for almost any team in the league. You don't retire with his abilities. He's not what he once was, but he's still one of the best big men in the game.
Tim and/or Pop won't. Tim loves playing and Pop loves Bonner...I mean coaching.![]()
It's a good question. Perhaps Duncan will take Robinson's example and win by going out with a championship. What better way to end your career than for your last NBA game to be the one that snagged you your final ring?
If he's solely playing for accomplishments, then sure. Retire.
But, if he's playing for the love of the game, then he'll play until he can't play anymore. Whether they're 82-0 or 0-82. You can't get that time back. Play while you still can.
No chance he retires after this year, regardless of how far we play into the summer.
...short of the unspeakable.
yessir...good to see you posting again.
Tim is playing because he loves basketball and loves his teammates. If he retired, he'd be bored as . Video games aren't as fun when you play them 24/7, you know.
Exactamundo!
