What we learned from this game..

- The Lakers were missing Kobe, but it didn't make a difference in this game..World Peace played the part of Kobe in tonight's game..

- Lakers won't ever shoot jump shots as well as they did tonight, tbh, fluky shooting..

- As expected, the Lakers frontcourt is overwhelming for the Spurs frontcourt..

The Spurs offense becomes reliant on Bonner's shot, when he's in the game..he started off hot, but once the Lakers began to close on him, the entire offense stalled..

Pop's reluctance to use Splitter and Duncan together was a death sentence for the Spurs, in this game, as expected..

Unfortunately, it may be too late for them to build chemistry, although it's still worth trying..

- The Spurs can only beat the Lakers in a series, if 3 things occur:

1. Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili play like stars
2. The Spurs win the 3-point battle
3. The Spurs bench kills LA's bench

None of these 3 occurred, which resulted in an easy loss..

Parker looked scared and couldn't play well against one of the worst defensive PGs in the NBA..he was also intimidated by Bynum's presence inside..

The Spurs's role players were intimidated and soft, which always seems to happen vs. LA..

LA's shooting was fluky, Spurs have no chance if they outshoot them..


Overall, this Lakers team is still too much for the Spurs, despite their lack of athleticism, shooting and depth..it's more than likely too late to resolve the mathup issues against them, so the best hope for the Spurs is for the Lakers to drop to the 4th seed, or for the Spurs to get the 1st seed, tbh, they won't beat OKC..
