son truth be told what we witnessed tonight (other than That Dude making it rain as usual), was a vicious beat down that the Lakers put on the Spurs. I think it is clear that a Bynum/Gasol led Lakers team is much better off than having Kobe chucking up 30 shots a game to get his points. The Lakers could be a very dangerous team in the playoffs as long as Kobe is on the bench. If not, then he will find a way to selfishly attempt to take over and get them knocked out in the first or second round. Bynum and Gasol can only do so much.

Yeah. I hate the Lakers as much as (ok more than) anybody but even I have to admit that we got embarrassed by a better team.

With Fisher gone, there's no weakness at the PG like there used to be. Remove Kobe and put Sessions there to feed the post, game over. No team stops that, and with the inside out ball movement and some halfway decent looks by good 3pt shooters, sky is the limit.

Kobe isn't going to allow that though. He's got a scoring le to worry about.
