Um grizzley's beat the spurs last playoffs right now he has the right to say that. I like that he's not scared un like tony against the lakers and then last night too.
This, from NBA dotcom:
Quotable II - "I guess you can count it was a moral victory. We played them tough. Obviously we wanted to win this game. But it's over and it's our last time playing. Hopefully we'll play them in the playoffs."
-- Gay
Seriously, Rudy? You really hope to meet the team that swept you in the season series? Well here's to you getting your wish.![]()
Um grizzley's beat the spurs last playoffs right now he has the right to say that. I like that he's not scared un like tony against the lakers and then last night too.
yup theres nothing wrong in his confidence, esp since he was such a big part of that playoff series win last year.![]()
Gay didn't beat anybody in the playoffs.
Did I ever say that he doesn't have the right to say anything he wants?
I applaud his statement. I hope every player on the Spurs team reads it. And I sincerely hope he gets his wish.
Mostly, I hope everyone remembers, if they actually do meet in the playoffs.
Well that would most likely mean they made it to the WCF.
I read on the Grizz board that Gay has shot 24-73 against SA this year. Leonard owns his ass. As long as he takes possessions away from ZBo and Gasol, I'm not that worried about the Grizz.
Come on now smart ass. What I'm saying is that hes not afraid wether he played or not.
its not what you say its what you do, and right now im loving rudy on the grizz,![]()
Na man u otta know better by now. I hope the spurs do read it and do get fired up but these last couple of games got me feeling un easy about their intensity.
For all we know they might switch up the gameplan and start going to gasol and Zbo once the playoffs starts.
Kinda stupid of Gay to say that. He just basically challenged the Spurs.
Even though you know you can beat a team tenfold, you never do that.
Good point, but Zbo is not the videogame Zbo of last year. Also they have lost a lot of toughness by losing Battier, Darell Arthur, Sam young. In fact it was battier who hit that critical three in game 1, that set the ball rolling. Either way,
not too concerned with the grizzlies, but the lakers, yes we need to change something up and gameplan better for them (if that's even possible).
At first I was like....
Then I saw it was Rudy Gay:

Parked said the same about them before the season started.
Little does Gay know, the reason they were successful is cause Zach/Gasol were the focal points of the offense then. Now with him taking shots away from them, it will hurt them.
If we meet them again, I think we beat them in 5 or 6. That's not taking anything away from them. I think us going 4-0 against them this year shows they will play with an edge against them. As we saw from Tim. Now if Tony can get going against them, forget about it
they were missing tony allen and sam young
but yeah, they'll miss Battier in their playoff run
Sam Young was traded
they are going to be missing sam young for the foreseeable future. He plays for the 76ers now.
oh my bad. I meant Darrell Arthur but he's also out for the season. damn.
what a ing bag of s
he was literally NOTHING when they beat us last year
and he has sucked ASS in our meetings this year
Rudy Gay is a scrub to the Spurs
Didn't see anything wrong with his comments, tbh.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!!!
Moral victories are loser talk
