The Lakers, who flew O'Quinn in to work out at the Toyota Sports Center, aren't the only team willing to bring him in for a closer look.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound center and former Norfolk State star has similar trips lined up with the Brooklyn (formerly New Jersey) Nets next Saturday, the San Antonio Spurs on May 22, the Golden State Warriors on May 23and the Oklahoma City Thunder on May 27.

Looking at the stats, the guy seems like a big time shot blocker with a monster 7'5" wingspan. Draft Express has him going early/mid 2nd round, surely we are able to trade up to there if he is available

The more I see of this guy and look him up the more I like him plus he seems to be a guy that we cant actually move up to get in the draft.

Equal longest standing reach in the draft and good shot blocking stats in college and at Portsmouth. If the FO see even a little offensive potential, be it pick and roll, post up or a mid range game, we should go for him

I really like what I'm reading about him too. Been watching videos on and off today.

I'm sold on him and Bernard James.

Sums up my feelings on this draft exactly. If we got O'Quinn and James it'd be the perfect draft for us, especially if we didn't have to trade up to the first round to get them. Two young guys who are long and can block shots to take the load off of Timmy

Getting both of them would be a flat out steal tbh.

i agree...im really liking those guys...bad thing is that on many mock drafts they are all taken at least 5 picks before us. putting together a deal to move up wouldnt be a bad idea...the million dollar question is..who wants are junk. hopefully we get a shot of drafting a good shotblocker

Cavs 33/34 or Portlands 40/41 are options. Maybe Blair alone could get us those Portland picks, although perhaps more likely Blair, #59, future 2nd and maybe one of the international guys.

Im not sure if O'Quinn will still be there at 40 tbh, we might even have to trade up to the late first round to get him

To me Neal is probably one of our more valuable trade pieces and Blair+Pick or player could move us up enough to get O'Quinn. In most of the mock drafts I have seen hes going in the 2nd round which is REALLY in our range of getting to him.

Things I read about him and seen in his game.
    High basketball IQ
    Good passer
    Shot blocker extraordinaire
    Tough rebounder
    6'10 with a wingspan of 7'5
These are a few reasons why his draft stock has been moving up he went from undrafted to mid early second round and moving even further up. I feel we can still grab him by trading up with Clevelands 33 or 34 pick for Neal. It would fill a need as they need a reliable shooter next to Kyle Irving. Blair+Anderson fills to needs for Cleveland as well a shooter and toughness on there front line.

Not many people are high on him because the small college he went to but he has shown he can play with the big boys. Things he needs to polish are his offensive game but that can be fixed.

Count me in as one who likes both these guys too. I would also throw Henry Sims into that mix too. I don't believe the Spurs can go wrong with either. In my wildest dreams I can't see how they could possibly manage to get two of them, but I'd ecstatic if it were to happen.
