Come to think of it... Championships won during lockout shortened seasons are just as difficult to win, and perhaps even moreso due to the physical toll on the players on account to the condensed schedule... People placing asterisks, do so out of jealousy that their team did not tbh...

True..never understood that asterisk ..everyone plays the same amount of games..gets the same amount of practice and opportunities to practice. So if the NBA shortens the season to say...70 games, will every le from here on out be an asterisk?

I can't believe I'm actually giving this any attention, but:

In the first lockout, there was some pretty crappy basketball being played, TBH. And it was only a 50 game season. And still the idea of giving it an asterisk is stupid.

This season, the game is being played at a very high level. And they crammed 66 games into a very condensed time frame. If anything, this season should put an asterisk on all other seasons before it.

Redskins have two les on the only shortened years, I bet they have asterisk and wish they could give them back! PHIL OR NOBODY said shyt then so thats not talked about! Infact lakers fans brought it up to make them feel better! If you get swept in the playoffs it's no joke, no asterisk they just dominated that year, period.

Shortened season to shortened season, 5 chips over 13 years. You really can't ever complain about anything if that happened. The only sadness will be if TD and Pop decide to ride out into the sunset.... But I wouldn't blame either of them.

If the Heat win the le, everybody will call it an asterisk. If the bulls win the le, everybody will call it an asterisk and the only le the post jordan bulls could win, if the thunder win it, everybody will applaud them but in the back of their mind consider it an asterisk. If the lakers or celtics win it, they will call it legit but a few will call it an asterisk. It's like this, it's an asterisk to everybody but those who love the team.
