If possible could someone upload a video of that 18-0 run in the second quarter?

During our Championship years, we would have runs like this in big games, on the road.

True, though that was usually a situation where the Spurs would seemingly put a lid on the hoop for five or six minutes and run 4 down 15 times in a row. Here they took a 3 minute hitch in the Lakers offense and just blitzed the out of them. Both are fun to watch.

Right before that run, Gasol blocked Tim on one end, then made that layup from under the basket on the other end. He came running up the floor looking so damned smug. That was the last time he looked smug all night. The Spurs just wiped that smile off his face. One of my favorite parts of the night, tbh.

Not that it mattered in the end, but Sessions' layup at the end of the first half should not have counted. You can clearly see his fingers are still touching the ball when the red light comes on. A little home cookin' for the Fakers there.

Neither team played any defense, wide open short jump shots and layups. The lakers looked like they didn't even care about putting any effort defensively into the game. Just another regular season game that you cannot take much out of like the game in San Antonio.

The playoffs are a different game where the games have some meaning

Over reacting by this board on both counts with the loss last week to the Lakers and now the win.

I guarantee you, the Lakers thought they had established dominance over the Spurs, with that game they won here in SA. They did it last year, and they thought that they had done the same thing this year. And I promise you, the ass-kicking they took last night stung a lot worse than you're giving credit for.

As for the Lakers "not caring"? Did you see the wrestling going on last night? And do you really believe that Andrew Bynum didn't care that he got zero offensive boards? Have a look at his post-game, if you really have any doubts.

I guess we'll see how they react now.

And made more obvious by the ref assisting the lakers on the fast break when parker fell.

Heh...yeah that was pretty blatant. Couldn't save the Fakers, though.

That picture isn't the right angle, you can't tell if his fingers are on the ball. From the other angle they showed on the replay, it looked like he got it off by like .001 seconds. Regardless, the scoreboard operator set it all up by letting the shot clock go fully off even though the Spurs shot hit the rim. Seemed like it fooled our guys.

To me it didn't seem like the Lakers weren't playing any defense...

It's just that the Spurs would attack them so swiftly and directly the Lakers couldn't get their guard up...

They were scrambling and caught moving in bad positions as the Spurs cut them up.

Some damn good shooting too by the Spurs but they were all almost clean looks.

    Nope. Light is the indicator.
