Orlando isn't getting out of the first round without Dwight Howard.
I see a Spurs-Heat Finals. Pop gets to crush LeBron's le dreams again.![]()
...path to the fifth championship:
hard path:
round 1: Houston
round 2: Memphis
cf: Oklahoma
finals: Chicago
...I'd have the Lakers over Houston but as it stands right now it doesnt seem like a Mem/LAK/OKC route could materialize.
easy path:
round 1: Phoenix
round 2: Denver
cf: Clippers
finals: Orlando (could cause matchupproblems for heat and get there)
...its a big stretch for that to happen though and it would feel wrong for us anyway.
right path:
round 1: Dallas (beating the champs)
round 2: Memphis (revenge for the Pau trade and last year!)
cf: LA Lakers (who else?)
finals: Miami (who wouldnt love to beat them?)

And I thought these were going to be your favorite... yoga positions.
lol, didnt know D12 might not play...
...so we might have to switch it to Boston for the easy way (not that they are easy to beat, but aside from Miami and Chicago they are the only team that can really get to the finals in the east)
at first I wanted to show you my hard one
my easy girl...
and the right thing to do with her.
but then I changed my mind, as it might have gotten me into trouble with timvp and so on.
Sorry, no Finals ring feels wrong.
I knew someone would state this and I have to agree...but does it feel better to beat a EwinglessKnicks/LeBronchokeCavs or the ChampPistons?
Orlando's chance to beat Miami in a 7-game series: 0%
Orlando's chance to beat Chicago in a 7-game series: 0.01%
And that's taking into account Howard playing.
I dont agree, as especially the Heat are vulnerable to 3Pt-Shots and D12 would protect the rim pretty nicely. I'm not saying they are the favs, but I'm not sure Miami wouldnt rather face Chicago than Orlando (with D12).
The right path would be some awesome games to watch![]()
@ Orlando
Easiest (realistic match-ups)
Rd 1: Phx - no defensive resistance, gives our guys a break from usual playoffs physicality
Rd 2: LAC - they're the worst-shooting team, we can hack-a-Blake, biggest coaching mismatch
Rd 3: OKC - our bigs won't get killed, edge in depth, Parker can go nuts
Rd 4: Chi - Let Rose get his, contain everyone else, box out.
Hardest:
Rd 1: Hou - Pretty deep team, tricky match-up, could go 6 games
Rd 2: Mem - See 2011
Rd 3: LA - See April 11, 2012
Rd 4: Mia - So much length on the perimeter defense, no answer for LBJ, lots of 3-pt shooters, every turnover is automatic 2 pts.
And I say one game at a time.
Iat people saying I see spurs in the finals. It's a long road to get there in particular for a veteran injury prone squad like the spurs.
