Because WENGER brings 18-20 y/o players when they are cheap, develops them, and resells them when they are 25 y/o to make a load of money

Tbf they're still paying for the Emirates Stadium and he's never missed Champions League action while they were doing that.

Arsenal's debt is smaller than most of the big EPL clubs too.
The one that really comes as a surprise is Hamburg, I just don't get it. They finished the Bundesliga in 8th place in 2010-11, and are currently sitting in 14th position dangerously close to relegation. Their best finish in the last ten years happened in the 2005-06 season when they finished third, and they haven't done in the German Cup since 1987. Their squad hardly contains any big names or promising youngsters, its mostly composed by journeymen.
Their arena, the Volksparkstadion, was opened in 2000 and hosts 57,000 spectators, it is considered as a UEFA category one stadium, but that's their only real valuable asset.
