Billups couldn't miss a shot, Hamilton was on fire. Threes were raining in from all over. Can they shoot like that every night? If the Spurs had hit the percentage the Pistons hit in free throws-game wouldn't have been close. That's a tough way to lose a game.

FTs had nothing to do with it. Detroit made 6 more baskets. Detroit shot 47%, the Spurs 41%. Detroit took this game, plain and simple.

It wasn't just the free throws, although they were a contributing factor. Detroit hit as many treys tonight as they had the ENTIRE series. I think they were 8-16.

Our defense was off tonight, and I kept expecting to see a switch on Billups, but Hamilton was torching Bruce tonight.

Will somebody please explain to me why you don't go after Rasheed when you know he has 5 fouls, either by dribble drive or getting the ball to whomever he's guarding, whether it's Tim or not?

Another thing, only 5 turnovers of the Pistons. Another near-perfect game.

No offense to Manu's fans(he was splendid in the 1st half), but went crazy in the 2nd.And I think Manu's 3 TOs were the breakthrough for Detroit to get ahead of us, esp the last 2(blocked by Ben & stolen by Rasheed). I was so frustrated watching the last 2 minutes of the game esp after those 2 TOs i wanted to choke Manu.

2:40 SA Defensive Rebound by Tim Duncan

18.0 DET Tayshaun Prince made 2nd of 2 Free Throws
15.0 SA Manu Ginobili missed 3-pt. Jump Shot
12.0 DET Defensive Rebound by Chauncey Billups
    0.0 End of period.

let's not blame this loss to Tim(as I'VE read in the other threads), alone bec. he missed 5 FTs but Manu missed 3, too! and he was supposed to be a good FT shooter.

    Tim was shooting 57% FG(8-14)
    Manu was just 41%(7-17)

i hope the Spurs get an early lead(10+), in the 1st half in game 7. They can win this one.

    Believe me.
