I can't figure that one out, after reading this forum I assumed that they were a lock. WTF Vegas?
down here its 5.5/1
im certain u can get better odds on betfair
lol @ Thunder over Spurs
so where is the best and reliable site to place bets?
B.S. Spurs own the over-rated Thunder.
Yeah, Durant and Westbrick closing out games.![]()
Here is what I'm thinking
Total Bet: $200
$100 On the Spurs: Gross Earning = $600, Net winnings = $400.00
$ 50 On The Lakers: Gross Earning = $600, Net Winnings = $400.00
$ 25 On The Grizz: Gross Earning = $625, Net Winnings = $425
$ 25 On The Mavs: Gross Earning = $1,000, Net Winnings = $800
That gives me at least a 2/1 odds payout if the Spurs, Lakers, Mavs, or Grizzlies win it all.
From what most people in here are saying, they don't think the Bulls or Thunder are legit contenders, so basically the only team that can bust this bet is the Heat. And if I were to bet $200 on the Heat, the net winnings would only be $300, so there isn't as much of a reward. If you think this is just a god-awful bet, please tell me your reasoning. I'm no betting expert.
I think it's a bad bet because the heat will probably win it all, leaving you with nothing.
otherwise, it's certainly well thought out re safety if the heat stumble.
Interesting. I liked OKC pre-season. But Do I think the Thunder can beat: Mavs, Lakers, spurs AND Heat/Bulls? No way they are winning it all. and before anyone points out what teh Mavs did last year ... Blazers of 2011 is not as good as Dallas (who are weaker than last year but dangerous. And no way Durant shoots as well for 4 series as Dirk did. , bird would have a problem shooting THAT well ...and Kidd/Terry hit every big 3 needed i ike Harden/Fisher but odds are, they wont be able to match what the Mavs did.
I get it makes no sense (odds wise) to bet on Miami, but it's their le to lose. If im betting I bet on Lebron and hope he exorcises his 4th quarter demons ...
I know, it's either bet a large sum on the Heat, or get a little creative and give yourself decent odds of making money if the Heat lose, and have fun getting to pull against them.
why aren't the Spurs first?

Some People don't understand how vegas and sports betting works.
Lakers seem like a good value bet, and so do the Mavericks.
The Lakers, Grizzlies and Mavs have no chances that's wasted money. I would put $100 on the Spurs, and $200 on the Heat. If the Heat win it all, you recover what you put on the Spurs and in the most likely result, you earn $300.
The other teams have very low probability at winning the series against 2 contenders (Spurs, OKC, Lakers, Mavs - Heat, Bulls, Celtics).

If you bet Vegas, even with the Jazz, you have a better chance of getting paid than if you bet Laker Welching Trio.
NY knickers ain't relevant at all tbh NY just be a wealthy city and the NY rich s just blow their money for fun

I'd put money down on the spurs. Those are some good odds.
I know it's hockey but vegas picked the Penguins to have the best odds to win the Stanley Cup this year. How did that work out for them? Miami is going down in the first round.
