Green had the same reaction to Leonard I had early on. At first, it was difficult to figure out what the Spurs saw in him and how he could succeed in the NBA. And then he just kept spreading his wings and the more you watch him, the more you realize he's a special talent.

And a lot of scouts early in Green's career said that he didn't take the game seriously enough. In this interview, Green pretty much admitted to that and says he needed his trips to the D-League and overseas to ignite his hunger.

It was obvious he was going to be in the mold of Marion/Wallace. He's not as athletic as either was early in their careers, but he's still an athletic, defensive minded combo forward, who can rebound and thrive in transition.

As far as his three-point shooting, I don't think anyone imagined he'd be as reliable as he's been so soon. At this point, Engelland has more than earned the benefit of the doubt though. If he works with Jackson this summer, I wouldn't put it past him to turn him into a high 30s shooter from three next season.

Jesus, can they ask Tony any new questions? How does this team do it? Just look up any mid level basketball site and it's right there, or look at the last 200 interviews.
